AIMEDICS is an Australian Innovative Medical Device Company. Our success is built on the quality of our people and management practices.
AIMEDICS was established in 2001 based on the work and patents of two inventors from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Since then, it has been funded through a series of investments and government grants; BIF, NSW Government, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (through UTS) and the Australian Government.
The original technology concepts have been upgraded and developed into the clinically tested HypoMon® product. This first output of the technology platform is targeted as a nocturnal hypoglycaemia monitor and alarm for use by young people with type 1 diabetes. Initial product sales are scheduled to occur in Australia and Europe during 2011.
